I've managed to get the 'book, after 6 hours of work, to now boot off of the CF startup unit, but I can't get it to work properly from the hard drive. Doing a clean install from 8.1 fails, as does upgrading, or even just dragging the system folder from the CF to the HD and going from there. S

Something's munged, and I can't get it fixed--hopefully someone here can help? I just finished installing 8.5 on my PB5300, and ran the 8.6 upgrade. Now I can't get the computer to restart without bombing. I had debugger installed when I was running 8.1, and it still is showing. Debugger show
