Hi all, First, I apologize if this is off topic, but from what I read on Low End Mac it is acceptable here, I am sorry if I am wrong, but I had to try as I know there are many folks here with much more knowledge than I have on any Mac!
Anyway, I recently acquired a hard drive adapter cable (the one that Micromac sells! Before i go mucking something up, I wanted to ask if anyone had any knowledge of what type of hard drive I can use in the Mac portable with this adapter. I understand that the Portable uses hard drives with different specs than the standard hard drives found in most Macs. The hard drive that came with it ( Conner CP 3045...I believe)does not work, so i wanted to try this. The person i got it from said that I should take care in which hard drive i use, but didn't know which ones might work! If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it!
