I'm using a rebranded Silver in a 1400 under OS 8.6, and I couldn't get the Airport drivers to work. I only have 32 meg of RAM (soon to be 48), so I'm reluctant to upgrade to 9.x. The card is recognised by and works with the Orinoco drivers. Is there something I can add to 8.6 to make Airport

Jean, I agree with Cathy. Give the WaveLAN Silver (or Gold) a look. Additionally, under OS 9.1, it will work with Apple's AirPort drivers on the PowerBook 3400, so you don't have to worry about support. FWIW, the AirPort card (not the new AirPort Extreme, though) IS the WaveLAN silver in a ne
