I'm using a rebranded Silver in a 1400 under OS 8.6, and I couldn't get the Airport drivers to work. I only have 32 meg of RAM (soon to be 48), so I'm reluctant to upgrade to 9.x. The card is recognised by and works with the Orinoco drivers. Is there something I can add to 8.6 to make

IIRC the Airport drivers will install only on G3 processor powerbooks. Though you may be able to extract them from the installer using Tome Viewer and then drag-drop them manually to the Extensions folder. Anyone done this? If it works, at that point it's a question of which software you find
