Good advice. I too have a 3400/240 with 144MB and a new faster 20GB HD, and 9.1 - with lots of extensions disabled - runs really well. I think the key is, as someone said, to disable or trash the extensions you won't be using. A standard 9.1 install puts more than a dozen totally useless (for
