PB 520c and 3com PC Card Speeds

Hi Listers, I have a PB 520c and am trying to use a 3com Megahertz 56k Global Modem PC Card (Model #3CCM156). I consistently get speeds of only 31,200 even though on the same line with my other mac I can get as high as 48,xxx. I am using the "Megahertz v.90 Modems" modem script found on the 3com
