My PB screen started acting up a couple of days into this current trip. It worked fine for the first couple of days, then Sunday night I could only get the image intermittantly depending on the angle at which I held the screen. If I let go the image of the desktop on the screen would slowly dissolve to a consistent white over the whole screen. The next day I could only get the white - no image at all no matter the angle at which I held the screen.
Note that his is NOT a matter of brightness. I can still dim the screen and make it bright but cannot see any image. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this? I am hoping it is just a ribbon cable. I've changed RAM on the 3400 and had a PB520 mostly disassembled so let me know if this is even worth attempting myself. I may just take it a to a local Mac dealer but I hate doing that on the road. Any help would be appreciated.
