Greetings:

        I'd like to speed up file sharing between my OS 8.1 PB 190 
_to_ my OS 9.1 6320 via printer port.
        Can anyone recommend ways to eek out every last byte of speed 
in my set-up? Best by minimizing what extensions maybe? Turn off Ram 
Doubler 8? Kill Appearances from background overhead? Also, is there 
a file sharing "speed gauge" in the freeware world?

        Any hints would be appreciated!
