Greetings. I am new to the list, as I just purchased a PowerBook 180 (grayscale, 14MB RAM/120MB hard drive) for general mobile word processing and using Bible search software (Accordance). It came with System 7.6.1 preinstalled (no disks). However, I wanted to slim this down with an earlier version, say 7.0.1 or 7.1. It has been so long since I've used pre-OS 8 or 9 system software (and increasingly long since using 8 or 9!) that I forget the merits of 7.1 compared with 7.0.1. An obvious benefit of 7.0.1 is that it is a free download from Apple. But is 7.1 worth finding for sale compared? Thanks.

Gary
