I have a PB 170. What program(s) do I need for it to read text outloud?
Hi. Try to download SpellTools (the last version is 1.3.3) from
VersionTracker or Downloads.com. It has a module that will read text,
regardless of whether your text application is text enabled or not.

An option with the OS installation is text-to-speech. It
comprises a Speech control panel, a Speech Manager
extension, and some Voice files for, I believe, the extensions
or system
