The PCMCIA controller in the 1400 doesn't support the CardBus protocol, and that is required for any USB card to work. It's possible to hack a 2400, 3400 or Kanga to support CardBus, but not a 1400. How much of a "hack" is it for the 2400c? Can you give details or point me to a description of
