Yes, just start the OS installer and it will examine
your drive(s) and ask if you want to update the
drivers.

Does anyone remember how to use ResEdit to activate a driver on the
drive list or add one ? Since there are a lot more drives floating
around these days !
Take the most similar entry, duplicate it, and add it back as ID=128.
Then go in and change the name of the drive to whatever matches your

But a try at using the installer to install just the Os may also fail
if the disk cannot be read or the remaining format can't be latched
onto.
