Alps seems to have abandoned the GlidePoint. Their web site no longer has
drivers for it.

The Mac Driver Museum has what appears to be a Mac OS 8 compatible driver
for the GlidePoint:

If you need an older version, please e-mail me off list. I have a
GlidePoint, with version 1.02 driver (compatible with OS 6.0.4). I'll be
happy to send you the software. It's about 200K.
