Just out of curiosity, where'd you find an adaptor for $10? Any idea if they have 'em that cheap for a 1400C? I have a 5300C that I'm currently using (but I need the AC adaptor to upgrade to the 1400!), you can use wireless cards with it, like I do, or light email, typing and surfing. I'd load
