Has anyone got a Proxim (Farallon) SkyLine card on a 540c ? I have tried installing the drivers but it just shows as an unrecognised card, the readme says it works on a 190, 1400, and 5300 OS 7.5 or higher, but no mention of 540. My config is PB540c with 40Mb, 700Mb HDD, OS 7.6.1, rev 'B'

I think the problem may be the rev.B card adapter, Ben. IIRC, you need the Rev. C to have it work properly. I do happen to have this setup, (rev. C and the skyline card) and it worked flawlessly right after I installed the software. Later.Howard

My config is PB540c with 40Mb, 700Mb HDD, OS 7.6.1, rev 'B' cardcage with rev 1 software. Not possible, as if you REALLY have 40 MB RAM, you HAVE to have a PPC processor, and if so, the Rev. B cardcage won't work. I do have a Rev C around here somewhere, BTW. Paul Nelson --
