*Business Analyst with PLMRound Lake, IL 8 month contract Rate: $50-55/Hour Max.* *Looking for PLM( PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT) * *Background in medical device and pharmaceutical industry.* *Purpose * The Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and evaluating system requirements for the BPLM-2-TCU global migration project, and implementing solutions for projects and enhancements. The incumbent will analyze business processes, identify, evaluate, develop and or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements. Create detailed written use cases and user requirements for developers. Provide consultation to customers on business process redesign. Assist in the development of system documentation and training materials as well as training processes. *Responsibilities for Technical Specialist:* Works as a liaison between IT and Business to provide recommendations on technical solutions required for the achievement of business goals. Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications and requirements on small/medium size projects. Define, design, and document business flows and processes Participate in planning sessions with the project team to analyze business requirements, and help define the proposed solution. Responsible for completing use cases and assisting in the development of requirements/design documents that will be used by the development teams to create the required solution. Provide support to Business Analysts on assigned project Assist in the development of global communication materials, demos, etc. in preparation for a global deployment. May be asked to assist with PQ test case development Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Act as the primary contact for the data management process between IT developers and the business. Provide end-user support on applications supported within the organization. Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop business system and process alternatives. Train others as appropriate on specific area of business or systems expertise. Assist in development of training materials The incumbent will perform other duties assigned and own key tasks. *Required Skills* Background of business analyses in applying PLM to medical device and pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience with global system deployments and migration Demonstrate solid business knowledge, require moderate direction, give minimal guidance to others, handle moderately complex problems, possess solid knowledge of SDLC Ability to translate client requests into well-defined uses case and requirements Ability to work within a global, cross-functional team Effective communication skills Suggest improvements to procedures and manuals based on knowledge of upcoming enhancements Provide technical guidance to the extended global migration team Work closely with subject matter experts and business partners Understand technical designs as well as specifications Document functionality and changes that may affect stakeholders Solid business knowledge. Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to work with in a team setting Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business. 5+ years experience in applying information systems solutions to business problems.
