Duration: 6 months

Basic Job Function:

·         ‪Develop Talend ETL processes to load data into HP Vertica data
warehouse

·         ‪Ability to break down data requirements into smaller development
components/tasks

·         ‪Ability to work in fast-pace, agile environment

·         ‪Work with various stake holders for requirements to design

·         ‪Responsible for design, development , unit test plans, unit
testing, QA support and post-release

·         Support Deliverables:

·         ‪Analysis and design packages (workflow analysis, data model,
jobs etc.)

·         ‪Code conforming to documented standards

·         ‪Unit test documentation

·         ‪Release documentation

·         ‪Estimates/Tracking actual to estimated effort

·         ‪Skill sets required:

·         ‪General DW/Analytics application development (8+ years)

·         ‪Talend (2-3 years preferred)

·         ‪4-6 years experience in developing ETL processes

·         ‪PL/SQL (4+ years)

·         ‪Perl/Python Scripting (2+ years)

·         ‪Familiarity with integrating data from various sources (flat
files, databases, web services)

·         ‪Data Modeling (2-3 years)

·         Familiarity with HP Vertical DB will be an added benefit

·         Good communication, ETL development skills, team player

·         Talend ETL Developer in fortune 100 org.
