My question was just ignored, so I ask again:
Is there a possibility to subtract the addresses of one group from the
ones of another? To get the ones which are in one group but not in the other?

I spent a week or so in Apple Mail v2 after installing Tiger,
thinking I could readily go back to PM since it has an import Apple
Mail function. Now wish to go back -- this new version of Mail still
runs like a one-legged dog once you get a moderate number of messages
in the box
