Even if you get it sync-ed ok, it adds work or home as comments to
all your PowerMail addresses - and it will not be right. A mess. In
the past most people have suggested not to use this feature.

i'm having trouble with Address Book syncing.
In Apple Mail; click on the mail folder choose Rebuild from the
MailBox menu.

I use PM 5.2.3 on a G4 with Tiger 10.4.7, and have run into a problem
with the indexing. I wasn't finding things when I
to change the PM setting back to delete from server after

I'm not sure how to unlink a Word Services Spell checker. There only seem
to be a way to link to a Word Services spell checker, an no obvious way
to forget it. MAybe you'll need to set all prefs back to factory default
to zero that setting?
