After upgrading to SpamSieve 2.4.4 PM and SS aren't communicating. This
has never happened on any previous upgrades, and I'm pretty sure the same
procedures were followed every time.
The SpamSieve manual also had gone missing from my system, so I
downloaded another copy from the web. Unfortun
update. What
can I do to get running again?

Finder shows Setup Database and Setup Database2 through 5. I'm not sure
where these came from, but I assume I can delete the numbered items?

Thanks to everyone who responded with this information. I must get up to
speed with my Mac, which I've had for about 18 months - I use
At work, I have to use a pc and have Pegasus Mail. There is one thing it
does that I wish could be incorporated into PowerMail. When highlighting
groups of messages for deletion if an error is made, I can back up and
unhighlight one message at a time. With PM the only way is to clear the

Thank you. I had spam sieve as a subfolder in the PowerMail folder.
Moving it to its own l
Why does PM5.01 ask "Where is SpamSieve.app" on every start up? It never
did that with PM5.0.

My Version 5 upgrade has mostly been a very satisfactory experience with
one exception: PM frequently quits unexpectedly. Has anyone else
experienced this, and is there a way to correct the problem?
Thanks.

close power mail
I get another error message "An error occurred while closing users files.
uncaught exception type". I have to force quit to get out of the

What is the item "Send with PowerMail Droplet"? How does it work? When

Is there a way to make a copy of a message so that it can be stored under
two or more separate folders?
TIA
list indirectly gave me the answer for the browser window question
as well. I tried the command-option startup and now when I click the
little green button I can get either a browser window that occupies
slightly less than 1/4 of my screen, or a full-screen view as needed.

1. My browser window is stuck in full-screen mode; clicking the green
button does not shrink it.
2. Command - N opens a new message window in the Mail program that came
with my system rather than a new message window in PowerMail.
What do I need to do to fix these glitches?

Is this group archived? I have questions but I don't want to bother
the group with them if they have already been covered.
