I'm receiving a double copy of all messages posted to this list.
Can anyone out there eventually tell me what's probably causing the problem?

Probably you're registered with two addresses.
Did-you check if both of the mails go to exactly same address?
As a precaution, I tried to unsubscribe from an old address I used to
receive messages from this list but they still come doubled. Perhaps it
takes a little time for PM's server to validate the operation.
