15/04/2009 The International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague finally approved
the filed complaint related to the terrorist crimes, genocide and crimes
against humanity committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza…

The announcement came from Béatrice Le Fraper du Hellen, heead of Jurisdiction,
Complementarity and Cooperation within the ICC, who said that told the HOKOK,
the International Coalition against Impunity, that all conditions for the
complaint to become valid were met…

Lebanese lawyer May El-Khansa, the HOKOK President, traveled to The Hague for
the fifth time on Wednesday, accompanied by a delegation of European lawyers to
meet some of the International Criminal Court officials, to discuss the new
developments of the filed complaint.

According to a communiqué, "this complaint is registered under the reference
number OTP-CR-4425/08. The organization will also submit new documents
concerning this lawsuit, as reports and statements issued by Israeli newspapers
and declared by the United Nations stating that the Zionist entity continues to
violate the human rights in Gaza and to commit crimes against humanity and war
crimes against the unarmed civilian inhabitants in Gaza. Moreover, the
organization files a complaint concerning the continued Israeli siege over
Gaza."

The list of suspects includes hundreds of Israeli officials that assumed roles
during the latest Israeli offensive against Gaza such as former Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert as well as Western figures such as British Prime Minister Gordon
Brown.

Meanwhile, El-Khansa revealed that the Lebanese government refused, following
the Israeli war against Lebanon in July 2006, to launch investigations in the
Zionist crimes against Lebanon.

She said that the organization will present new reports to the International
Criminal Court concerning the 2006 war on Lebanon complaint, registered under
the reference number OTP-CR-549/09, focusing on the Zionist crimes and the
recurrent Israeli aggression since July 2006 because of the millions of Israeli
cluster bombs which kill and wound many civilians every day most of which are
children.
