Commerce Minister Masoud Mir-Kazemi said on Wednesday that Iran welcomes the
increase of trade exchanges with Morocco.

In a meeting with visiting Moroccan Energy and Mining Minister Mohammad
Aboutaleb, Mir-Kazemi pointed to the potentials of Muslim countries, adding
that Iran has trade exchanges with more than 175 nations.

Mir-Kazemi noted that his country enjoys appropriate capabilities in
different fields such as export of technical and engineering services,
production of food stuff, building materials, medicines and health
equipment...etc.

The Iranian minister also referred to the strategic status of Morocco and
its capabilities, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes
expansion of trade ties with the African country.
