*Italian Activist Wounded in Bilin Protest * RAMALLAH, September 5, 2008 (WAFA) - *An Italian peace activist *was injured on Friday by Israeli soldiers during Bil'in anti-wall peaceful protests, witnesses said. Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli soldier attacked the weekly protest against the construction of Wall that swallows most of the village lands. The Popular Committee against the Aparthied Wall said in a press release that Israeli soldiers opened fire and hurled tear-gas canisters against protesters, wounding an Italian peace activist with a rubber coated peace bullet in the neck, while scores others suffered suffocation. Many international and Israeli, together with Palestinian protetsters, participated in the peaceful protest which marks the first anniversary of the Israeli High Court to tear down the Wall in Bilin village, west of Ramallah.
