Hhmm, If you can find the size from the site and find what's saved maybe.
One thought on that if you use my version file idea is to put the size in
there as well. Problem is I don’t think you can do it without an ocx timer
as the vfp ones wont fire while the download is in progress.

I forgot to mention Foxite.com, but they take the news feed from

I've placed a news piece on the UT, and I've emailed Barbara on VFUG.
We'll see if I can get on their site somehow.

Howdy all,
I'm wondering how people would purpose to get - read, process -
files that are written* to a directory over a set period in VFP 9 SP1.
I would have thought that ADIR() would be sufficient but perhaps
someone else has a better idea.

Ed's solution is probably the one I would go with, but you might also
write out a closed file per log file.
If the log file is abc123.log, then perhaps you could write out a
abc123.closed.txt file when the log file is closed?

It's an age-old problem, solved a number of different ways.

This is true in all instances I believe.
People depend on the police to protect them, but they do not seem to
realize that the police are only called AFTER something has happened.
You have to protect yourself, period.
