Michael: My server is local. Usually I develop & create documents on
the workstation and upload them to the server. This time I did not. I
created the document on the server. I regret that, but it is too late
to worry about that. I have tried three different undelete programs

Auto-correct killed that original reply.
What I was trying to ask was whether you tried to recover the file from the
server console, either by physically logging into it from an attached
monitor/keyboard/mouse or a remote session?

server. I have tried a couple of undelete programs but they don't seem
to find any deleted files. Google is not my friend on this one. I even

A corporation can elect to be taxed under sub-chapter S of the Internal
Revenue Code, if they meet the IRS requirements. Even an LLC, that is
incorporated, can elect to be taxed under the Sub-S rules of the IRC.

Thanks to all for taking the time to help me with this matter.
Not sure how much work I'll be doing after I "retire", but sounds like I
definitely need to set up some entity for tax, protection purposes.

Thanks again for your input.

He should not charge for more than an hour, perhaps less.
If you ever need the protection of an LLC, you want to be sure it is solid.
