Well, the issue is that while the DVR can output video, the laptop has
no video *inputs* because why would it. On a desktop PC you'd be adding
a video capture card with HDMI and/or S Video inputs. On a laptop you
are looking at a USB connected adapter with those connections. I have

has SVHS in as well as what I assume is composite. It does not say what windows
os though, will have to wait, but it was cheap. I paid £3.38 including post.

to use SDT to repair it, but nothing is happening. No response, no error
