+1 for NameCheap.
My eyes glazed over every time I had to log in and manage my domain
names on GoDaddy.
Ever since I jumped ship and started using NameCheap I haven't looked
back. Simple, to the point, and a butt load of free services to boot.

Not sure of any open-source VFP based packages but there is always
GnuCash at http://www.gnucash.org/ that should work for their accounting
needs. Do note that its written in C and Scheme.
