Click the start button, type cmd, Vista will display cmd.exe above, right-click and run as administrator. I feel the same way. Strange thing is. I'm running Vista Business attached to an AD domain. If the network administrator logs into the box, all the UAC stuff is gone. No questions, it just

Just those VERY annoying popups when you try to run things. There should be an option to turn them off, but I haven't found it yet. There are many ways. Right-click on shortcut, select 'Run As Administrator' Change the shortcut properties to give the program administrator priviliges.
