In a Web Connect application there are pages that display a grid. At the
bottom it has a footer where you can navigate to additional pages. The
developer set the number of lines per page to 1000 and the footer does
not display. 500 lines per page displays the footer.

No. I have a page that displayed 6000+ lines, before I added pagination.
Look elsewhere for your issues.

Not that I know of. I implemented a page that shows over a million table
rows (TR) (not my design, honest). What I found was that all browsers
