I've had much better luck with importing from the existing PST rather than
exporting a file and trying to use it.

The best of all is that the default location of the email store is not only
buried deep but is *hidden*. How one is expected to back it up I don't
know. I always set up a client's hard drive to have separate partitions for
system + apps and data. I move the email store to a clearly labelled
