Webex gets VERY EXPENSIVE VERY FAST.
My old client was paying over $1500 /month for their WebEx -- the
charges vary according to usage.

GoToMeeting is better for what you're asking about -- or at least it was
last year.
It's cheaper than Webex (by a BUNCH) and actually worked better than
Webex...

Seemed to work good although when I checked on the pricing it seemed

Gatherplace turned out to be disappointing but it may have improved
since I last looked. I really wanted to like this product - it has a lot
of features not found elsewhere and the cost is a reasonable $29/month.
My current product of choice is GotoMeeting which works, but its price
at $50/
