There should be some mistake when building the j805 j.dll.
However j806 beta seems working again.

Ikept sending those 5 messages because I was not getting them back myself. I
keep getting messages from others. Any ideas on what is blocking my own
messages from coming back to me?

Your messages have gone through alright. This may be the fifth time?
Check:

First is there a limit in size to emails send to the forum?
Here's a shortened message that I hope will get delivered.
If this image is a clock face, in an hour the grayscale image goes from
white to black correctly.
If you use the RGB palette that is not the case.
load 'plot'

I seldom post, being content mainly to lurk:) I wouldn't know how to move
it to the chat forum but please feel free to do so...
I see it as being more about perceptual linearization. The geographical
images simply *illustrate* how 'people' (i.e. we) naively colourise images
and (a) make them ugly
Andrew, These are fascinating images.
Several years ago I tried to convince people that GRB would be a better
palette than RGB. I used Cliff's image, your first pattern, and rotated it
90 degrees. If you think of this as the face of a clock, then in an hour the
GRB palette goes from white to b

I don't know of a package for this, though it should be possible.
In practice, I use Find in Files to find where a name is referenced.

I tried to refer to the j.dll directly.
VS tells me "A reference to (path...)\j.dll could not be added"
i wonder, why j804 behaves differently.

not sure why it can not add reference in vs. actually you don't have to
add jdllserver to reference if you don't need intelligent sense.

PRAVDAcolor is more for representation of geographic images, I think?
The examples seem to be all about picking good false colors for
terrain images (and related concepts).
An interesting discussion, but it's not really about math. (I should
direct followups on this to chat forum, also?)
Thanks,
bill,
thank you for your support.
using syswow64/regsvr32 does not give any error message, confirms that the dll
is registered, but does not resolve my problem. the error message i receive
when trying to add the reference to J DLL Server in VS remains unchanged.

Hi All
I think there's room for further improvement of your colorization of the
images. Years down the line I still think the approach taken with
PRAVDAcolor makes a lot of sense. Check out:
