WorldNews.com,Sat 15 Jul 2006 Whose Peace Will Prevail In The End? WorldNews Guest Writer Paul Forest.
How do you stop a war that began fourteen centuries ago? A good start would be to understand whom we are fighting and why they are fighting us. George W. Bush cannot be blamed for starting it, though he probably would have, but he rekindled it and snatched defeat in Iraq from the jaws of victory in Afghanistan when he decided that the a ruler in the middle east who had full control of Islamic terrorists, had to go. Did he know that Islam, not England, not France, not Russia, Germany, or China, Islam was the most successful conqueror in the history of the world, its conquests extending from Spain to China? . Did he know at the time that Baghdad was the original base of early Islam? Did he really believe that a culture with such a length of heritage would convert to his incredibly shallow values? War, of course, is the peace exterminator, which everyone instantly compares to peace when the thought of one or the other occupies our minds. There is no middle ground. When the U.S. and the Soviet Union were building and accumulating incredible arsenals of weaponry in anticipation of having to destroy each other and the world 100 times over, during that 44 year period known as the cold war, in actual fact there was no war. That was a time of peace, costly peace but nevertheless each side had leaders that recognized the consequences of starting a war that could bring about the end of civilization. Anyone who believes in God should perhaps say a silent prayer of thanks that George W. Bush did not sit in the White House during those years. The U.S.A. entered this century with a strong record of dedication to the cause of peace and in the wars in which they involved themselves, they are deemed to have carried the baton of peace for all freedom loving countries. It is very unfortunate that such an enviable record, unique in history, should now be desecrated, perhaps beyond decontamination, by a President that is unknowingly deprived of wisdom and who wages war like a barnyard rooster protects his harem. Meanwhile the United Nations, starving for a more forceful leadership, has dishonored itself for its lack of meaningful and immediate action to the plight of the vulnerable people of the world. Was it not originally created specifically for that purpose? The disruption of peace historically, has been a ponderous affair requiring long periods of preparation before evolving into endless wars. There was traditionally, a strange reluctance on the part of potential defenders of peace, in realizing the imminence of conflict and this was specifically reflected at Pearl Harbor, in Poland and New York. This is probably the reason why today, with the awesome development of weapons of mass destruction, the opposite may have become reality, and some Governments are suffering from chronic fear inflammations due to the real possibility of a mass carnage as yet never seen before. Though much has been written concerning the nuclear ambitions of Iran, an immediate danger lies in waiting in the vaults of North Korea whose leader may suddenly decide that Islamic terrorists should have the right to at least one of his nuclear weapons. Would these committed terrorists make use of these weapons, and why are these firebrand religionists giving up their own lives to kill unknown enemies? Why are they intent on killing masses of strangers in New York, Spain, London and now India? It is because they have been told that this is what Allah himself expects of them, and no understanding of this "war" is possible without an objective study of their scriptures. " Muhammad's Own Words " by author Craig Winn carries a large number of quotations (2500) all of which are referred to in the sacred scriptures of Islam: the Qur'an, Sira, Ta'rikh, and Hadith. These are organized in 32 groups for easy reference. The author, in fairness, points out that he compiled these quotes placing his emphasis on Mohammad's apparent violent rejection of all that is non-Muslim. Quotations dealing with conventional, peaceful, Muslims are not to be found in this collection. It should be noted that each quotation is accompanied by an international Arabic Scriptures code, and the placing of those codes in a Google search window between quotation marks, clearly shows that these are universally recognized quotations. They were neither created nor manipulated by the author. Some of these quotes read as follows: Qur'an:9:5 : "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." Muslim:C40B20N4676 : "Jihad Is Compulsory." Tabari IX:113 "Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur'an." Bukhari:V3B48N826 "The Prophet said, 'Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?' The women said, 'Yes.' He said, 'This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind.'" Ishaq:316 "Following Badr, Muhammad sent a number of raiders with orders to capture some of the Meccans and burn them alive." These are but a few of the many such thoughts carried in the Muhammad's Own Words site. The reading of this collection of quotes by non-Muslims, gives rise to considerable peace deprivation on the part of those of us described as infidels and unbelievers, since these thoughts, which even today are considered to be decrees from Allah continue to be promoted by Clerics with a fanatical bent towards radicalism. The most supportive pro- Muslim scripture scholars are in agreement, that Mohammad could neither read nor write, and that these monumental scripture are the result of word of mouth being carried for two centuries, prior to being written in an obscure language of the times. Potentially this leads to a reasonable possibility that Muhammad was unquestionably a fervent devotee of Allah, who sought and obtained guidance from Him, perhaps even in states of trances as is claimed, and the violence found in the scriptures may have originated in large measure, from the Islamic leaders in centuries that followed, in their quest for world political dominance through military action. The Islamic terrorists of today, would then be responding to the words of centuries old Religious leaders, rather than words that belonged to Mohammad or Allah. Modern Muslim clerics by association are considered by many of their followers to be in-line legatees in their Prophet's mission in fact Shiite Imams are deemed to speak for God in any new precept, which they may pronounce as a supplement to existing Islamic law or moral dogma. If the Clerics' teachings today are from the words attributed to Muhammad, and they are creating a new violent generation of hate-filled young Muslim, all non-Muslims of the world are fully justified in being wary of Muslims that overtly cling to traditional attributes directly related to their religion, its precepts and presumably its most horrid commandments, all the while enjoying the worldly benefits available in a westernized society. All the nations of the world, all the cultures of the world, all the religions of the world, have in their midst a percentage of their people who genetically or for any other reasons, adopt a life of crime, of violence, generally a natural tendency towards anti-social behavior. Studies suggest that a figure of 10% of overall populations may be a reasonably estimate of people naturally prone to violence and crime. It follows that 90% of the world's population whether In Europe, Asia, the Americas, or whether they are, Christians, Muslims or Buddhist, are normal, sensitive, peaceful individuals by nature, and only 10% are not. The Catholic Church has its mafia, despite generating the most peaceful of religious messages. Islam's natural militants, no more prevalent than in other sectarian groups, are however immersed as children in violent thoughts attributed to Mohammad, that they are selectively obligated to memorize. Peace should not be a primary factor at this time since it is unattainable. The White House, having opted for an overall policy of threats and intimidation, there is no solid ground from which a political peace process can be seriously entertained. A stable status quo is perhaps the best possible foreseeable scenario but the longer-term future for these totally discordant Western and Islamic cultures must be consolidated from a firmer base than presently exists. It is possible that God's judgment concerning each individual may have as a major determinant, people's own deeds and thoughts towards each other? Could everyone be held accountable for acts that may have prevented God and them from enjoying peace within their souls? If this is so, for those who in this manner may have disturbed the peace of God, will they ever find peace? Whose peace will prevail in the end? It will not be Islamic, since too many of the words attributed to Mohammad tell us that peace was never part of the agenda, nor can it originate from George W. Bush and his bad angels, who believe that peace without victory is an admission of defeat. It will be God's peace, one way or another.
