There is no distinction in the Arabic script between capital and
non- capital letters. Therefore also in this passage we are fully
entitled to read "muHammadun rasūlu llāhi", "praised be the
messenger of Allah".
Jangkauan kalimat ini amat jauh, karena kalau kita baca ungkapan
"muHammadun rasūlu llāhi" yang ada di al-Mushaf itu kedalam
bahasa Inggeris dengan "praised be the messenger of Allah" (atau
kedalam bahasa Indonesia kira-kira 'puji bagi rasulullah" maka
hubungan antara Muhamamd dan al-Mushaf itu menjadi TIDAK MESTI
ada.
Agar jelas: "rasulullah" yang dimaksud al-Mushaf itu bisa saja
Muhammad, tapi bisa juga .......Yesus.
Bagi yang lupa: yang menyangkutkan nama Muhammad dengan al-Mushaf
itu adalah hadits, yang dikumpulkan lebih dari se abad setelah
kejadian yang diceritakan, artinya MUSTAHIL ada yang sahih.
Agar jelas: al-Mushaf itu, yang memang TIDAK berbukti berisi
wahyu Allah bisa saja - dan inilah yang dibuktikan oleh kajian
Lülling , Luxenberg dll. aslinya leksioner salah satu sekte
Nasrani (ayat makiyah) yang kemudian ditambah oleh orang Arab dengn
ajaran biadab (ayat adani)..

Nonsense! Asif Iqbal will be astonished about the degree of my proper
acknowledgement of not only these four coins, but of even earlier
ones. Didn't he get my point that these early coins to some degree
will compensate us for the striking lack of documents for early-Islam
times? Is he even not aware of this striking lack, compared with the
times before and after?

Havn't you been able to find an even older paper, Asif? Or did the
idea evade your awareness that in the meantime further research was
done?
Hopefully time will allow me to present some newer findings.

Not at all! Asif Iqbal only acts as if he didn't get my point: that
not only the "final form" of the later Islamic shahāda underwent a
development, but also its understanding: a development from an
original Christian understanding to its later understanding as the
short form of the Islamic creed.
Now Asif Iqbal quotes the Koran as if this book, as it is transmitted
to us, were any historic evidence. Instead also this book shows the
usual signs of Islamic re-interpretation of earlier elements. So also
here:
