Yeah, we had a call, and we will look for a number of subject matter experts both within the Prometheus Team and externally who are interested in joining the effort. We need to first put together a blueprint of what the certification should cover (like the outline you see at https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/linux-foundation-certified-sysadmin-lfcs/ under "Domains and Competencies"), and then as a second stage, come up with detailed certification question items for a multiple-choice exam that will be administered by the Linux Foundation. Regarding the tracks, it's up to us in a lot of ways, but it seems like we will build a single certification first to trial the demand, and we still have to determine how to draw the line between user, admin, and developer, because those roles often overlap in the Prometheus use case.
