Deleting MyDocuments is a brilliant idea Jami, but it doesn't work.
The reason for this is, that there is a permanent file lock on one of its

Interesting thread.
Didn't know that everyone else out there hated the MyDocuments "default" as
much as I did.
Maybe the real soultion is to simply completely delete the folder and all of
its relatives (such as MyMusic and MyPictures).
Murphys Law says that MS would either recreate them or crash

Do you want to move the physical location of "My Documents"?
If so, right click on the "My Documents" icon on the desktop, and enter a
new path (to a new drive etc...)
You can also use the TweakUI Control Panel applet from MS.

you really ought to give FileBox Extender a spin (free trial)
i does just what you want and is easier than setting up shortcuts
(project paths change all the time for us at least)
it has a recently used folder list and a favorite list
it's pretty simple and unobtrusive
works with most everything

And then quoted a detailed knowledge base article. I think one point
deserves more attention, even though it has been mentioned: the router may

there is a program called FileBox Extender
http://www.hyperionics.com/
it's pretty good
it changes the way most file box dialogs work
makes them resizable, has a list of favorites, preserves details sorting
etc etc

At one point the only version of PCAD supported for import was 2000.

Mike,
can't help with all of your apps but the Microsoft apps (at least
the newer ones) usually have the capability to set your default directories.
It is usually in the setup or options configuration area of the apps
themselves.
As far as P99SE, on my system it always defaults to
Mike,
Most, if not all windows programs remember (in the system registry) the last
directory used by that program. But you can set your My Documents folder to a
specific location such as a mapped drive. Keep in mind that if working

Cmon Rene,
I didn't have time to write a book. Likewise one wouldn't typically
route 300volts at 4 mil tracks and spaces now would you? There are always
other confining requirements and regulations.

Yup, exactly what I intended to write when I first saw the query...
For the author of the original query or anyone else who's interested and

Hmm,
a 300 Volt track should perhaps have a bit more clearance
than just 10mil. Set that under Design rules, clearances,
there make a new one and do it for one or more specific nets.
