It seems the root (or tentative one) to alot of my speed problems with the larger design I am working appeared with the use of SP6. What I am also see now is a failure for the netlist generation to acknowledge a change in library changes. I had seen such behavior before in Protel 98. It usually meant I had to delete a component, chose a new name and then reinsert the parts on the drawing. Has anyone else heard of the curse of embedded libraries which means old memories may not be forgotten ? In that light, is there a component/symbol cache that needs to be flushed to make sure only present names apply ? Thanks for any wisdom. I am feeling like the last three letters at the moment.
