I added this support.
Bastian, would it make sense to have icons for each possible variable
role?

It really is something that I could not explain, and is not really important
now.
Include icons in the combo box can be a good improvement.
Moreover, in the tests I've done with the new feature role, I have noticed that
the ability of PSPP to encode a string variable with scale measure, affect

I performed interoperability testing between PSPP and SPSS with the new column
variable properties for role works great.
I was wondering if you could make a change in the user interface for the
columns in alignment, measurement and role. The change would include the

I've done some of the investigation needed to add "role" su
I have reviewed several documents available on the IBM website
(http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27024972) and I could not
find anything that mentions specifically the behavior I describe. However, I
can tell that this exists (I see it every day when using SPSS).

I think the problem was that by renaming some icons, the build could no
longer find them. Ben's change simply pulled the deleted ones back again,
so presumambly we now have some icons in the repository which are redundant -
old ones which are used, and new ones which are not.
There are a number
I noticed when compiling the latest update of PSPP, that icons back to the
previous state (before I performed the upgrade), for example there are icons
that should not be included as string-scale or add-variable/case. Similarly
other icons back to a previous version, as insert-variable/case.

I'm looking for information, if not remember wrong, so I mention that system
was introduced by IBM in version 19 of SPSS.
I see it every day to manipulate SPSS at the university and find it very useful
to prevent obvious errors by the user(using the GUI).

Yes, SPSS/PSPP allow that behavior. However, in SPSSthere is a locking system
that prevents use miscoded variables in most ana

Maybe when I updating icons and delete that image in particular the error
occurred.

There may be a problem: my buildbot is failing with the message

Thank you very much.
I'll try the latest version.
Any suggestions for improvement and change for the new artwork, please let me
know.
I have already pointed suggestions that John gave me. I think that in the

I've pushed the about-logo.svg which was the final svg file from Bastien
to be integrated.
Again, it might not be the most recent version that was posted to the
mailing list. Bastien, please update it if not.
Let me know if you notice any problems.
