Hi I had a plug in like that a few years ago on cubase but I still
found the best way to eliminate pops is to use a pop filter in front
of the mic. You can buy one for about $50 or build one yourself using
a round hoop and some womans stockings [just buy new stockings] lol...

A gentleman named Peter Elsea did create such a software interface for a
digital console a few years ago. I'm tempted to say it was a DA7 but I don't
recall. At any rate, he made it publicly availalble. Problem is, it's only one
console and not a terribly widely used one at that. As proof of con
Hi all this is a bit off topic but still important for visually
disabled/blind people producing or engineering music. I am a sound
engineer and one of the big shortcomings I have vs sighted engineers
is digital mixers as I can't work them because of the screen and
minimum dedicated buttons. Don't k

anyway it was a good job and if your client is sattisfied with it that's all
that counts.

Excellent job Kevin! Pull that mono synth track down in the mix a tad so it
doesn't stomp your very nice vocal tracks and I think you'll have a hit jingle!
That's my amateur 2 cense worth.

Hi Chris,
Chuck's comment on using the Command modifier while scrubbing is correct,
although it is dependent upon which zoom level you're in. So, in general,
zooming way out will give you a broader stroke, so to speak, and the Command
modifier will narrow that focus. Alternately, if you zoom wa
Kevin,
When I worked in the industry jingles were my bag and this is good stuff. No
need to apologize for your mix, it is format centered, top 40, easy listening,
works for oldies as well.
I am impressed with what you did with the kits, the hits and so on, almost
sounded live.

Good job, Kevin.
Ignoring the mix part which you said to do, the rest is very well done.
I'd love to play with the mix part of that one. LOL I'm not in the same
league, or even close to that league yet, as Slau is but would like to be
some day. I figured out long ago that an musician, in terms of w
Hi Chris,
Use the command key on the C24 while in the scrub mode, this will do
the trick!
BTW Waves has the de breath-er on for $59 i think looks tempting!
YMMV

Hi Guys,
I must simply be brain dead today, but I just can't seem to find the command to
make the C-24's scrub wheel change the amount of selection as the wheel is
turned while in scrub mode. I'm editing a voice track for breaths and pops, and
I want to adjust how much my scrub will cover at one
Hey Kevin,
that's really sweet. I love the two leed synths in the background and the
jazzy bridge.
Nice singer too. Bravo.

Hey folks. Just got through with this jingle I wrote for a client. I was going
for that late 70's early 80's Smooth Jazz feel. Besides the fact that the
mastering bus is a tad over compressed, let me know what you guys think. Be
aware that my strengths are in writing, arranging, lead and backing
