When I phoned Apple, they said they are still selling it, but only while stocks
last. And stocks hadn't lasted in any of the 3 nearest stores to me.
Seems they have got copies, but they're not restocking, so if they're out,
they're out.
Cheers,
Take care,
Chris Norman.

Hi,
If you've purchased it from the Mac App store, you should be able to
redownload it. When it opens the installer, go find it in your downloads
or applications folder (I think it's in the latter place) and make a copy
of it. Then you can either quit the installer or go ahead and install.
Hi Trevor,
I'm not sure what the expansion pack is supposed to include. I've always used
HD so that stuff was included. You might try contacting Avid about the issue or
at least take a look at some documentation to see what you should be seeing.
Cheers,

Hi Slau,
I have done as you said and the USB has the protools licence and the expansion
pack 2 licence but, I don't see a lot of difference in protools.
According to the CD, there is 55 gig of instruments on the five cd's and, I
would have thought I would have seen quite a difference in the numb
Hi, My views are if a program is no longer being sold and you need it for
any reason for accessibility or other reasons then downloading it however
you can get it is fine as the company is no longer selling it so no real

Hi Cameron,
I think someone else mentioned booting with Command-Option-R for Lion recovery.
Never tried it myself but it's probably worth digging around a bit to see if
it's viable.

Truthfully, I never usually use it, but I didn't really have much choice, as I
tried to go through the official channels first, and couldn't find any legal
way of obtaining Snow Leopard that was fast enough.
Also, I'd purchased SL in the past, so I didn't feel bad about getting it

Slau, how would one go about downgrading once ml is purchased from the
app store?
Thanks,
Cameron.

Thanks for the offer but I don't trust torrented software.

Hi Trevor,
That shouldn't be the case. First, you need to verify that you downloaded the
license to your iLok. Go to their web site, log in with your iLok key inserted
into an available USB port and take a look at what's on the key. You shouldn't
need to reinstall any plug-ins. The software sho
Hi Slau,
I don't know if the site was down but I had a problem at first authorizing it,
but, someone from avid very kindly authorized it for me.
Then I went on to the ilok site as he told me and downloaded licences.
I checked them and the one I wanted was there so, I am fairly certain that I

Hi Trevor,
Did you mean to say that you've sorted out the activation on the Avid site? Did
you have an iLok authorization deposited into your iLok account? Did you
successfully transfer the license to your iLok key?

I'm not sure either. I only have one drive, and I've not noticed anything bad.

You may even be able to resize without formatting. I'm sure that's what I did.
