I have always thought that you needed to purchase the Mac version
separately. I’m quite sure it is not AAX, and I doubt that it would be very
accessible on the mac anyway, since without navigating the GUI on windows, we
wouldn’t be able to open the browser or load samples into elements.

I have had great success with Apple tech support. That sounds like a question
for them.

what normally should happen is when you do something that requires
administrative privileges it should prompt you for your admin password before
proceeding with that action. Use window chooser to make sure that admin
password window isn’t popping up but being hidden.

It is something CakeWalk are aware of.
It isn’t just an accessibility issue, I have asked a couple of sighted
people to have a look and they can’t do it either.
They suggest, doing a repair disk permissions and making sure you have
administrator priveledges.
However, when I’m on the desk top on Macintosh.hd and go in to information,
it says, I have custom access.
I have tried changing it, and I have done disk permission repair and disk
verification and still no luck.
When I googled the problem of administrator priveledges, Apple say that the
account you sign in with gives you administrator priveledges.
So, I am totally lost for anything else to try.

    Thanks,

    Trevor

Has anyone had any luck with it?
