If i am not mistaken if the surface had HUI support it should be able to
control plugins as well? I need to see what’s going on with RWP as i haven’t
been getting those messages as of late.

Hi, I’m having a little difficulty automating plugins. I load a plugin,
activate the automation enable button, I choose room size from the table of
autommatable controls, and then hit OK. I make sure my track is write enabled,
and that plugin automation is selected. When I move the room size con
Hi Chi,
OK, I've finally had a chance to see what kind of behavior I'm getting in PT
version 11.3. I opened a session with a huge number of MIDI events, twelve
thousand in the bass track alone. When I enter a main counter value much higher

Yes, I agree. I don’t think they’ll drop support for HUI, but HUI doesn’t mean
that you get access to plugin automation through the control surface. Anyway,
I’ve posted a query about plugin automation in Reaper to the RWP mailing list,

think Avid are trying to force you into buying their HD syste
Thanks for all the help. I think I’m going to try using my BCF2000 with
ProTools for track/sends volume and pan, and maybe transport controls. If I
need to change a plugin, I’ll use Reaper for that. Reaper has many more
advantages over ProTools when it comes to plugins; for a start, they allow V
Yeah, same experience here, although they're no longer being
manufactured and I doubt there'll be any further driver updates.
Still, for the price of one second hand, they're a neat tool to have
at your disposal.
