Ok, thanks, I like it, sounds practical. If I ever get that shot in the arm and
invest more in my studio I think that I will go with a couple of API lunch
boxes, fill them with some nice vintage modules and perhaps take a breather
from all of the big named plugs for a while.

Papa,
I'm currently using all three. Hardware compression or EQ on the way in (not
always but sometimes), both native and DSP plugs including stock Avid and AIR
plugs plus third party AAX which often tend to be AAX native but sometimes AAX
DSP.

Slau, do you use more hardware, native PT or another type of plug for your
mixes? Tim, what I myself use the majority of the time are both native protools
plugs and waves plugs about fifty-fifty. I do also use some of the sound toys
stuff now and then, and some others I have, but rarely use are

Any savvy user will understand it is easier to deal with the trackpad then put
up with moving a mouse. I usually tether my mouse anyway to keep from having to
route it to the voiceover cursor.

Hi Tim,
I totally agree with Slau, If you're new to Pro Tools, you should
stick to the plugins that come with Pro Tools.
I have the Waves Renaissance Max bundle and, with Pro Tools 11, they
are accessible. I Don't think that's the case though If you're using
version 10, as I don't think AAX plugi
Hi Tim,
You'll be able to do most of what you need with the stock plug-ins included
with Pro Tools. I haven't used waves plug-ins for several years but, as I
understand, they're currently accessible.

Hi Tim,
The iLok License Manager will most likely become accessible later this year.
For now, you'll need sighted assistance to transfer licenses to your iLok key.

If no, which plug ins you will suggest?
If I want tune the vocal, can I use auto tune or waves tune?

Hi:
I want to know , so far i lok license manager is not accessible for mac

If yes, how can I solve this problem?
Because I buy some plugin need to add the license to the ilok.

Single tap works best because you can then use VoiceOver to navigate menus and
submenus. Without the settings as I've outlined, a single tap would only open
the menus and close them as soon as you lifted your finger off the track pad.
For Command-clicking a Solo button, it's not an issue but for

There's much conjecture about what is the best way to upgrade. One can
certainly just upgrade to Yosemite via Software Update. Others insist that a

Double or single tap?

Hi, Are these issues with using the mouse pointer with Pro Tools with
voiceover going to be fixed and is Apple aware of them as I like the old
method much better and think this new method can make new users not want
to use Pro Tools if they use the audio tutorials around that don't talk
