If you are gonna take the time to reinstall do a clean install of el cap instead of going back to yosemite. I had upgraded to the the last few OS versions and had some annoying little hang ups with El Cap but i felt the VO improvements were worth trying a clean instal and so far so good. So on

Hi In my opinion no, just stay where you are, on Yosemite. I can't give you spesific reasons or examples, but over all Yosemite just felt much more smooth and solid than El Capitan. Not that updating will break or hectically change something in terms of PT, but if it was my choice, I'd stay put
