Hi Rocco, I have a 2015 MacBook Pro and it runs Protools fine. Give some thought to 2015 or 2016. Regarding work stations, you could use your desktop for heavy projects or for working on editing projects by taking them off of a laptop, giving you room to continue being a portable sound studio. It

Hi all, I’m thinking about selling/replacing laptops, and had a few thoughts. I have both a 2012 and 2014 MacBook Pro. The 2012 machine seems to run ProTools better then the 2014 computer, but they both still have significant issues with playback, recording, lag, etc. So, do I sell both
