Yeah, Could be a driver issue or an combination of things. If you are running large projects or projects with lots of plug ins or VI’s, off your internal system drive that also runs the OS, or you are using an external USB drive that is on the same USB bus as your USB soundCard either of those

Well aware of the OWC stuff have I have used their stuff in the past. However the current gent MacMini and 2016 MacBook pros are pretty much sealed boxes without user upgradable RAM So you would have to get them maxed out from the factory since there is no way to upgrade them later.And while a m
