If Pro Tools allows you to export broadcast wave files, that may be a
workaround. Logic has a move to or paste at original recorded position short
cut that will let you move files to their original location after importing or
paste them there after copying or cutting. I have had some success wit

Marker info is not embedded in a WAV. Clip information can be but I'm not sure
if Logic will interpret clip info in the same way. In other words, clip info
for a continuous WAV file is embedded and the host application imports that
