deleting selection does nothing

Hi. I have a problem which happens sometimesand I have no idea how to fix. I had a selection on a track, pressed the baackspace, but the audio from the selection is still there, I can undo the clear command in the edit menu. I have shuffle mode selected, smart tool selected, track says waveform

Yes, Ramy, it's not so straight-forward because of the nature of stopping and starting often but that's the challenge when doing spoken word. There's no shortcut for jumping to next and previous markers. When in the Memory Locations window, you can simply click on a memory location to call it up

Hi Slau: Ok i was using this tecnique but it’s so hard to remember which mark i was on? is there a way to go to next and previous marker? also, in some situations, this tecnique can not be applied, because the narrator is repeating more and more and more, so do not know when to put the marker on

Hi Ramy, Sighted users can select audio while recording but, since we can't do that for obvious reasons, I'd suggest using memory locations on the fly while recording. Set the preference to auto name the markers and each marker will correspond to sections where you need an edit. Hope that helps
