That is bizarre... I don't remember that behavior under Snow Leopard but, then again, I didn't use version 9 all that much. One more thought: Have you tried using a num pad shortcut for toggling MIDI Merge? If I'm not mistaken, there should be one. I don't recall. My control surface has a dedica
